SHEER SHADES

Designed with unique S-Shaped vanes that allow for superior light control, Silhouette® Window Shadings are an engineering triumph. They are available with traditional light filtering sheer panels that provide UV protection even when the vanes are fully open. If you are looking for additional light control and privacy, you can get the Silhouette® Duolite® Shadings which combine the traditional light filtering shadings with a room-darkening roller shade. This unique design allows the sheer shade vanes to remain open while still blocking out light by pulling the roller shade part way down. For a nicer view of the world outside your window, we also offer the Silhouette® ClearView™ Tapestry™. This specialized fabric provides UV protection while allowing a largely unobstructed view of the outdoors.

Providing superior UV protection, Pirouette® Window Shadings block out 81% of harmful UV rays when the vanes open and 99% when the vanes are closed. These sheer shades are elegant and graceful. They come in a wide selection of colors, and the vanes attach to a single light backing. They also provide clean lines as you can raise the entire sheer shade into the headrail. Pirouette® Window Shadings also come with the Invisi-Lift™ system, which allows the vanes to float on a single backing without using cords or tape, making these sheer shades both functional and beautiful.

Luminette® Privacy Sheers have elegant folds and UV protection of drapery while allowing filtered light and a view of the outside. They are designed for large expansive windows and sliding glass doors. The fabric used in Luminette® Privacy Sheers is available in cut yardage, making it ideal for creating coordinated accessories.

These vertical soft shades are perfect for sliding glass doors and horizontally opening windows. The unique architectural design of these window sheers sets them apart from the other sheers & shadings we offer. SmartDrape™ shades are constructed from a collection of individual pairs of vanes suspended in sheer fabric. Because the vane pairs are not connected, this sheer curtain has a flowing motion you won’t see with other shadings. The design also allows you or your pets to easily step through the shade even when it’s fully closed. You can remove the vane pairs individually to clean them, and the entire sheer curtain is machine washable.
