From roller shades to Polysatin™ shutters to hardwood blinds and everything in between, almost all Hunter Douglas window coverings can be motorized using the third generation of PowerView® Automation. Your motorized window treatments are centrally controlled by the PowerView® Hub, which connects to your home’s Wi-Fi network and is powered by Bluetooth technology. From there, you have several control options for your automatic shades. There are wall-mounted Scene Controllers and Surface Remotes that can control all of the window treatments in s room. For more mobility, you can instead use the Pebble® Remote, which can control several motorized window treatments at once. You can also use the PowerView® App to create scenes and open and close your power blinds from anywhere in the world. You can also integrate PowerView® Automation with your existing smart home system to allow you to operate your automatic shades.

This system is exclusive to ALTA window treatments and was designed to have an incredibly easy setup. BLISS™ uses two-way radio communication and runs entirely on rechargeable lithium-ion batteries. The batteries can last up to 500 cycles on a single charge, and BLISS™ has a magnetic charging kit that makes charging your batters a snap. There is also the option to add a low-profile solar panel and let it do all of the work for you.

Introduce innovation to your home with Powerwand™— a new and visually pleasing way to control your window treatments. Featuring a simple hook-on attachment, the Powerwand lets you raise and lower your blinds with the touch of a button; no more getting tangled in cords. 

This motorization system has been around for over 50 years, and they are still constantly innovating to be on the cutting edge of automation technology. Somfy® works on ALTA and other window treatment systems. Somfy® carries the Sonesse® Motors, which are some of the quietest options available. Somfy® systems can also be equipped with a variety of sensors that make your window treatment operation even more effortless. Using the sensor’s data, Somfy® will automatically open and close your power blinds without you having to lift a finger. If you want to control your motorized window treatments yourself, you can also use the TaHoma® Gateway and application to open or close your window treatments with the touch of a screen or by speaking to your existing smart home system.

With myLink™, it's easy to transform your experience with Somfy-powered motorized solutions and maximize the benefits that they provide, such as energy savings, privacy, comfort, and convenience. The myLink™ puts you in control, so that you can operate your awnings and exterior screen shades with your favorite mobile device whether you’re home or not.

Using the PerfectTilt™ G4 Motorized Shutter system, you can easily open and close your shutters. The system includes an auto-brake feature that immediately stops the system if an obstruction is detected. This keeps your shutters from closing on a child’s fingers or a pet’s tail. All of the louvers can also be operated manually without damaging the motors. The Norman® Motorization system is powered by rechargeable batteries with an integrated solar panel. Operate your shutters one at a time using the puck remote or choose to have every motorized window treatment in your home move together as a unit.
